the strong Winds of Pentecost

I was inspired to draw an image of pentacost that juxtaposes the tongue of fire with the fall of Babylon on 2025/06/03.

I can’t help but draw a connection between the two events. as the consequences of one is the inverse of the other. the church fathers seems to have noticed as well, the traparion of the feast touches on this.

Babel was a tour that represented the pride of man. It was built in the center of a city. so the babel tower is synonymous with the city. I live in a city and we also have sky-scraping towers. any major city, you will see a thorny skyline. it seems man haven’t really learned the lesson back then.

I wasn’t expecting to see the large tower to fall in my neighborhood, but as Pentecost approached, I braced myself. I kept my eyes peeled so see where the wind will strike. and it seemed nothing came. Until the feast day of Apostle Hermes of the Seventy.

the world seems to be collapsing into itself, starting from the nave of the world. it has now been 4 days since the aggression, and there seems no signs of stopping.

this was foretold by surprising accuracy by holy elders more recently, but also by Chirst. Perhaps this season of fast we are in is very appropriate… Perhaps our fast and prayers may delay full on Armageddon… it is such later than we think. so with hope in Christ our God, and help of the Theotokos and the all the saints, let us commit ourselves to the fast of the Apostles.
